Ray led Paige to the elevator, and pressing a bunch of buttons he then led them in. It was then he realised he had a hold of her hand, and blushing he let go.
"Are Sam and X coming?" he asked, poking his head out the door and looking around. He really wanted to get the show on the road.

"No." She said decidedly and pushed the button that closed the doors. X23 hadn't mentioned coming, but she had breifly heard Sam yelling before they'd left earshot. "Which floor are we going to?" She asked and stared in confusion at the strange high tech elevator panel. At least she'd managed the right button to make the doors close, and she smiled as they closed.

Ray smirked; "B2," he said, "to start. Then, who knows," he said with a shrug, "It's big."
He was glad Paige had closed the doors. He didn't feel like putting up with an overbearing Sam. Though it was hard to imagine, it wasn't very hard.
The doors opened to reveal the sleak, metallic hallway. He smiled, watching for Paige's reaction.

Paige's eyebrows narrowed and she looked around in surprise. "This. This is the basement?" She looked around wide-eyed, almost afraid to step out. "Wow." She managed after a while and cautiously stepped into the hallway.
"This is- Are we supposed to be down here?" She cut herself off and turned around with a suspicous stare in Ray's direction.

Ray walked out into the hall, nodding approvingly; "Yeah, we're cool," he said; "At least, I'm sure I've got clearence. No one's busted me yet," He looke at her, smiling; "Come on, the floor won't bite ya!"

She glanced down at the floor, as if suspecting it would do just that, and then followed him down the hallway. "Okay it doesn't bite, any trap doors I should be aware of?" She questioned and looked around still in shock. This place was beyond awesome.

Ray chuckled; "No, just doors that slide that slide instead of open..." he stopped at a crossroads, taking a moment to look down each option; "Hmmm... yep, let's go down here!" he said, heading to the right. He was going to show her the "P.E." rooms, as they had been affectionately named. Where the students worked out and excersized, played sports and the like. They didn't have a gym, per se, but they had a big open room that could count. After that, maybe the hanger. But it would take them a while to get there.
"So..." Ray said, running a hand through his hair and then to the nape of his neck; "Have you been enrolled at Bayville High yet?" wasn't much, but a start.

She followed him down the hallway and continued to look around. It was amazing, sure at first glance the mansion was amazing, but she had never expected this sort of a thing.
Paige nodded in response to his question. "I think so, I mean I think the professor and my mom worked it out." She glanced over her shoulder at what she'd thought was noise, but the halls seemed empty other than them. She shrugged it off and followed Ray into a large open room.
"Oh cool, I bet this is a great place to run off to." She muttered the last part more to herself than him. A giant empty room would be an awesome place to just go off to and be alone if someone got ticked off, but she figured most students probably left the mansion to get away.

"Yeah well," Ray shrugged; "Some stuffs been added since the school said mutants couldn't play sports because it was 'unfair' to norms, or something like that," he waved it off; "Any way, yeah, ou can come down here whenever you want, so long as the elevator isn't locked or something. Anyway, come on, there's one more thing before the big finaly!"
He then took her back to the crossroads and to the left, and now the hallways branched off and there were more twists and turns; "Down through ere is mostly storage. You know, spare gear and applainces for the mansion. There's even this bogus old 'classroom' where the Prof. thought it'd be 'good' for Scott and Jean to teach us stuff, but um... yeah that didn't work out too well!" he said with a laugh.
"But this is the baby of the entire X-Men," he said quietly when they reached the hangar.
The big X-Jet loomed over them, tall, black and ominous.

"Whoa." She muttered with a wild grin on her face. Paige loved to fly, and she had a feeling it was more fun in the back jet ahead of them than the airplanes she'd been on. "Are students allowed in that?" She questioned doubtfully.

"Eh, not without Adult supervision," he said, smiling at her; "That things better than anything any government's ever thought up, so a student flying it woudl be too risky. Actually, about a year ago, a couple kids here took it out for a spin and nearly blew it up," he laughed; "They were in sooooo much trouble, I think Bobby still has Danger Room clean up..."

Paige laughed and glanced over at the jet again. A bunch of teens flying a high tech jet around, oh that was smart. "Well at least they didn't die." She pointed out thoughtfully.
"So, if thats the best part of the tour, I suppose its the end? Now what?" She clasped her hands together and turned to him with a curious expression. The jet was cool, but if they couldn't do anything with it at the moment, what was there to do around the mansion.

"Well, this isn't the coolest part," he said, sidestepping away with a slanted gaze in her direction, a sneaky, deviant's look; "But Sam doesn't want me to show you. So, i guess I'll have to show you the rest of the upstairs," he finished with a dejected sigh, beginning to leave the Hangar.

Ray had a funny look on his face... an almost scary look... and it almost scared her.
"Hey!" Paige yelped and grabbed his arm with her nose scrunched up. "What are you talking about? Sam doesn't want you to show me what!?" She asked in a desperate almost panicked voice. Someone telling you there was something extremely cool, but they couldn't tell you what exactly it was. Her pet peeve in life. "What is it?" She repeated and gazed hard at him.
