"We'll blow up dat bridge when we come to it, ma cherie." Remy said and waved a hand as he opened up a pizza.
He wondered how long it would take for his powers to cook the little pizza, because while his skin was hot to touch through kinetic energy, he didn't want to blow up a mini-pizza in the box car.
"Remy thought yah said you were hungry?" He questioned with an eyebrow raised.

Rogue blew out a frustrated breath of air, sending the firearms one last worried glance before settling herself down on the floor. She wasn't going to worry about it, she'd leave that job to Remy since he seemed so unconcerned about the guns being smuggled along with them.
Instead she wrinkled her nose as she looked at the pizza. "Ah take it there wasn't anythin' a lil more southern in there? Or spicy? Or chocolate?"
Rogue propped her chin in one hand and watched Remy try to heat up their meals. "Ah guess it'd be askin' too much ta find somethin' decent for the rest of the train trip. By the way, Swamp Rat, how much longer is this trip gonna last? Ah seem ta have misplaced mah bag somewhere--Ahn Ah'm already startin' ta miss the comforts of home."
Her head perked up at the thought. "D'ya think anyone noticed Ah'm gone yet?"

"Remy t'ink's elf prob'ly told deh whole mansion and Wolverine's tailin' us on his bike." The Cajun replied with a smirk and handed the pizza to her. "Misplaced yah bag, well dat would'a been helpful foh carryin' stuff, but no matter..." He trailed off as if she had a clue as to what he was talking about.
"Nothin' is too much foh yoh to ask of Remy, ma bien-aimé." He assured her with a smirk and walked back towards the door. "Dere's prob'ly a box a' Hershey's somewheh in dere."

A small smile tugged at her lips as Rogue watched Remy disappear out the open door again. She didn't feel homesick with him around...probably because he was a southerner like her.
"Stupid, Swamp Rat," muttered Rogue to herself as she took a bite of her pizza. "Next thing ya know Ah'll be wantin' ta follow him back ta that metal fortress he calls a home."
She snorted at the thought and continued to eat her meal, grumbling to herself about getting to attatched to the only other person on this trip. She was going to be in heaps of trouble when she returned...and Rogue had a sinking feeling no one would let her live it down at the mansion that she had taken off with Remy of all people. They were already talking about Rogue coming home late from dinner with him.

Remy came back about fifteen minutes later and flew into the boxcar with ease. "Milk chocolate oh dahk chocolate?" He questioned and hold out three of each flavor to her.
"Remy couldn' fihnd anah almond." The Cajun explained and slumped down to lean on the wall. Traveling between three boxcars was hard work even for a master thief. "Would yah like fries wit' dat ma chere?" He questioned in an amused tone and leaned his head back.

"Milk chocolate," said Rogue immediately. Dark chocolate was too rich for her liking. "Thanks for findin' 'em...it's ten times better than the pizzas."
"Ahn Ah don't need no fries. Don't be a smart aleck, Swamp Rat, it ain't nice. Hey, ya never said how much longer this trip was gonna be. What are we supposed ta do ta pass the time for the next couple of...weeks? Or is it months?" Rogue groaned and reached out for a candy bar, opening it up. "The Professor ahn Logan are gonna kill meh when Ah get back. No one's run away for a real long period of time!"

"'Ceeeeept, you?" Remy pointed out and gave her a roguish grin. She hadn't exactly 'run away' last time. Though they had managed to enjoy themselves alongside the work, and the fact that he'd kidnapped her.
"Well if it's dat serious Remy can go tell deh driver dat we need tah turn dis train 'round befoh you get in trouble. Remy's sure he'll undahstand." The Cajun said in a sincere tone. "We got about a week on dis wonderful train." He admitted and glanced out the open door and wondered why he'd never bothered to find a faster way of traveling. Then again all the faster ways brought a higher chance of getting caught. Stowing away on a plane had always been hard, but security was huge now, and you couldn't exactly fly a plane with a hole blown in it.

Rogue shook her head. "Ah intend ohn findin' Mystique no matter how much trouble Ah'm gonna get in, Cajun. Ah'll just tell 'em ya kidnapped meh again. That way Ah get off easy ahn you'll hafta stay away from meh for a while."
Her lips twitched in another teasing grin as she glanced over at Remy. "So what are ya gonna do ta entertain meh the rest of the way ta Argentina, sugah? Ah take it ya didn't bring any games for us ta play--like Monopoly or somethin' like that?"

"Ma cherie, Remy swear, dere's no winnin' wit' yoh." Remy said with a slight shake of his head. "But Remy'll go wit dat kidnapped scenario, 'cept wit' all deh psychics Remy wondahs how long dat'll keep up." He pointed out and small yawn.
"Non, no board games." He admitted with a slight shrug. "Dere are different ways a' entertainin' ones self doh." The Cajun said with a similiar smirk in place, but her made no move to do anything.

"The Professor doesn't normally go inside anyone's head if they don't want him to. Ah don't think Jeanie or any other psychics would look 'round either of our heads either...the X-Men usually respect everyone else's privacy." Rogue paused thoughtfully, casting a glance Remy's way. "Then again, Ah don't know what they'd find in that head of yours. If Ah cahn recall correctly there ain't much up there ta find."
Rogue made a face at Remy's unspoken suggestions. She could only imagine what he had in mind. "Don't go gettin' any bright ideas, Cajun. There's open door with your name ohn it if ya ain't careful. We have your cards don't we? We cahn just play Go Fish or--"
Her words were interrupted by a loud screeching sound that made the car shudder as the train ground to a halt. Rogue scrambled to her feet and slid the door open a little ways so she could peer outside.
"Uh, Remy, Ah think we're 'bout ta have company...ahn Ah don't think they're friendly." That was an understatement considering the fact that a group of soldiers were talking to the engineer with rifles in their hands. "Ahn Ah'm gonna take another wild guess that they're lookin' for mutants."
Rogue had heard about soldiers beefing up security when it came to mutants traveling in other countries. They were becoming more inclined to hunt down mutants and interrogate them on their affiliations and powers. It seemed the United States wasn't the only country anti-mutant.

Remy glanced out the door and frowned. "Non ma chere, dey probably jus' want one ah dose candy bars." He said wryly and pulled her away from the door. "Come on." He said hastily and pulled her out the other side door.
The situation required absolute stealth, and quick thinking. Both him and Rogue were skilled in those areas, but he was tempted to have her absorb him so they both had a means of self defense, as well the skills he'd acquired through the thieves guild.
Instead Remy motioned for her to follow and moved as quickly as possible without making too much noise. 'Over here!' yelled a voice from the car they'd just been in, and Remy quickly jumped into another box car before holding a hand out to help Rogue in.

Rogue gritted her teeth as she took Remy's hand, allowing him to pull her inside the car with him. She could hear the soldiers searching the car they had just been in. A startled exclamation made her roll her eyes. Apparently they had found the remains of the food Remy had found to eat. That meant the soldiers knew there were stowaways nearby.
Listening intently to the soldiers, Rogue breathed a small sigh in relief when it seemed the men were heading away from the train. Maybe they thought Rogue and Remy had hightailed it into the unknown. Rogue was about to whisper as much to Remy when both side doors of the box car were pulled open.
As the soldiers cocked their rifles and pointed them at the two mutants, Rogue turned to Remy with a glare. "Any more bright ideas, Swamp Rat?"

"Jus' one." Remy replied and pulled fifty-one cards out of his pocket. "Duck." He said with a grin and fanned the entire stack out.
He gave the desk a slight jerk to charge the cards before flaring them out at all the soldiers. The Cajun stowaway flattened himself and Rogue down in the corner as the many explosions went off, following by exploding guns as the sparks reached the gunpowder in several weapons.
Once the entire ordeal was over Remy raised his head and saw the angry face of a soldier with scorched hands, before another one hit him in the base of his head with back of his gun.

Rogue glanced up with wide eyes as Remy fell to the ground in a crumpled heap. Without thinking she shot her arms into the air. There was no way she was going to drain anyone with Remy unconscious. She didn't need any more companions inside her head anyway.
"Would y'all believe we just happened ta misplace our tickets?" she asked hopefully.
"No." The soldier glared at her before motioning for some more soldiers to enter the car. "Let's bring 'em in for questioning at the base. They're mutants, so they're up to something."
Rogue narrowed her eyes as she felt a soldier bring her hands behind her back. She had never felt like a criminal before now. "Ya wish Ah was up ta somethin', buddy," she muttered under her breath as the soldier led her off the box car. Glancing back she chuckled as two soldiers struggled to carry Remy off the box car without dropping the sleeping Cajun.
