"Get away from meh!" cried out Rogue pushing Remy down. "Are ya crazy? Ya cahn get yourself killed doin' that!"
Rogue took a deep breath and rubbed her cheek, her eyes never leaving Remy's. She had felt the warmth of his powers, and just as quickly she had felt her own powers start to kick in. It wasn't a pleasant feeling.
Bringing her knees up to her chest Rogue tried to shrink into the wall and as far away from the Cajun as possible. "Ah don't like havin' people in mah head," she whispered hoarsely. "Ya don't know what it's like...sometimes Ah cahn't even hear mahself think..."
She could feel tears forming in her eyes. Rogue cursed herself for breaking down now of all times...but the last few months hadn't been easy. Her powers were a curse and Rogue had no intentions of using them again--not until she could gain a semblance of control.

Remy fell back with a scowl and caught himself on his hands. "It worked foh a second." He retorted, slightly angry at being pushed away. He didn't break eye contact, since she wasn't, and his eyes started to carry somewhat of a guilty look.
He noted, with a slight frown, that she was edging away from him. "Remy's sorry." The Cajun said quietly, and only slightly sincere.
Rogue looked like she was on the verge of crying, and Remy sighed and looked up at the cieling as if it had done something entirely stupid. "Remy is sorry, ma cherie... Rogue." The Cajun repeated, thsi time actually sounding as if he was. He looked her over with his red, black eyes and glanced back over to the other side of the train. He wanted to hold her, rest his hand on her shoulder, do anything to show her that he was sorry, but right now she probably didn't want him anywhere near her.
He crouched down in front of her, making no move to touch her, and forced a smile. "Rogue, Remy was only tryin' teh help. If yoh too afraid ah' usin' yoh powah then how are yah supposed to practice controlling it?" He pointed out quietly, and then stood up.
"Now, Dis Cajun's gonna go over to deh othe' side ah deh train." Remy explained, his usual arrogance replaced by a tired and regretful tone. He did feel somewhat tired due to the contact, but the fact that it had worked at first was stuck in his mind. As much as he wanted to experiment, he'd scared her enough for one night.
Remy made his way of to his former spot on the train and settled down. He glanced over at Rogue

Rogue watched Remy as he went to sit across from her on the other side of the train. He look concerned, which made Rogue feel bad, but she couldn't help it. She wasn't eager to control her powers, that would only mean she would be pressured to use them in battle.
"Ah'm sorry," she murmured softly. "Ah just didn't want ya ta get hurt--not that Ah mean anythin' by it...just...Ah kinda need ya alive, Swamp Rat. Ah don't really want ta go up against Mystique ohn mah own in case she's crazy again."
She lowered her head onto her knees studying the Cajun. Rogue wasn't used to someone playing around with her powers like that--normally others stayed as far away as they possibly could so as not to get hurt. But Remy hadn't and that made Rogue curious.
"So what the heck didja think ya were doin' with your powers? Ya weren't tryin' ta blow meh up, were ya?" Rogue narrowed her eyes suspiciously and waited for whatever explanation the Cajun could cook up.

"Remy undahstands." The Cajun replied flatly. "Nothin' meant by it, don' want tah kill deh hired help." He went to grab the cards again, stopped halfway there, and begin spinning the retracted bo staff around.
"Remy was tryin' tah show you dat he has everyt'ing undah control." He offered and looked over at her, slightly glad that she'd calmed down and was at least speaking to him. "Ah was tryin' tah touch you. It's not dat hard tah undahstand." Remy continued, switching the bo staff to his left hand and spinning it counter-clockwise.

"Touch meh ahn ya get yourself killed, ya stupid Cajun. How many times do Ah gotta tell ya Ah don't want a Swamp Rat runnin' 'round inside mah head?" growled Rogue.
"Look, Remy, Ah know ya think ya cahn control your powers ahn not hurt meh...but it ain't the same way for meh. Ah cahn't control mah powers. If Ah hurt ya Ah'd feel bad...ahn it might lead up ta another freak out. The last time Ah had too many powers inside mah head Ah couldn't remember who Ah was--Ah couldn't stop what Ah was doin'. Ah'd kinda like ta not repeat that feeling ever again."
Rogue leaned back against the wall, hoping Remy would take her peace offering as it was. She wouldn't break down and apologize to him--he had been touching her, not the other way around.

Remy shrugged. "Remy doesn' t'ink he has it undah control. He knows it." The Cajun replied with a small smirk, but said nothing moer. They had entirely different opinions on the matter, but it was Rogue he'd be experimenting with and he wasn't about to force it onto her.
He thought over what she'd said and flashed a sudden smile at her. "Aw, but Remy's touched dat yah'd feel bad." He said with a wink, and blew her a kiss. Sure she wouldn't experiment, but it was a long way to Argentina and he could torment her the whole way if he had to.

Rogue narrowed her eyes as Remy blew her a kiss. She had a sinking feeling that the trip to Argentina was about to get even longer.
"Alright, Mr. Prince Charmin', didja bring anythin' ta eat?" she asked after a while. She could feel her stomach growling in silent protest for going without a real meal since lunch time.

The Cajun smirked and shook his head. "Non, but Prince Charmin's sure he can fine somet'in." He assured her and walked back to her side of the train car, keeping his distance, and placed a hand on one of the lids. "If worse comes tah worse, Remy'll blast his way intah anotheh train car an' fine food." He muttered and blasted the lid off the first box.
"Ma cherie, would yah be interested in eaten plastic?" He questioned with a straight face and hoped that there was more than simply plastic on this train.

Rogue frowned at the mention of plastic. With her luck that would be the only thing in this particular car and Remy would actually have to blast into another car to find something to eat--and that would let anyone else on board the train know she and Remy were on board.
"Here let meh look." Rogue scrambled onto her feet and headed over to the crate Remy had been sitting on earlier. She studied the lid and smirked in triumph upon seeing that some of the nails were missing. Grabbing Remy's bo staff Rogue quickly stuck one end into the top of the crate and pushed until the crate popped off.
Rogue made a face at what she found. It was nothing but more plastic. "Ah don't think there's food in here, sugah," she murmured. "But before ya get all excited ahn start blowin' things up why don't we see if we cahn just crawl into the next car and look for food there? It'd be a bit safer than lettin' any humans know we're ohn board...ahn we don't wanna make a scene big enough ta gather the attention of the media. Ah want ta find Mystique before the X-Men start searchin' for meh."
"Sound like a plan, Cajun?" Rogue turned her gaze back over to Remy, her eyes locking onto his to let him know she wasn't about to take no for an answer.

Remy shrugged and walked over to her. "Oui." He agreed with a smirk and took the bo staff back. "Remy t'ink's it might be safah if he goes. So, just, sit dere an' entertain' yahself ma cherie." He said dismissivly and waved a hand at toward the corner.
The Cajun turned away from her as a smirk passed over his face It was almost 100% doubtful that she was going to simply sit there while he switched cars, but he couldn't help himself. Aggravated, annoyed, or utterly confused Rogue was funny; almost cute.
Remy slipped a hand out the door, that he had previously locked, and winced slightly as the bouncing of the train caused his hand to repeatedly rub against the wooden doorframe. He couldn't see the front of the lock but he concentrated on how many clicks it was making, and after about three tries the door flew open with a crack.
"Subtle, non?" He joked and pocketed the lock. Red, black eyes studied every inch of the cart they were on and the one behind it. "Remy can prob'ly just slip along the side..." He muttered and suddenly wished he hadn't let Magneto put those metal links on his gloves. All the metal on his uniform had made it easy for his boss to assist in a quick get away, but without the gloves he was bound to get splinters and other wonderous cuts.

Rogue made a face as Remy motioned towards the corner of the car. Like she would honestly follow his orders, what did he take her for? A child?
She watched as Remy opened the door, making her jolt at the loudness of it, before walking over to the open doorway and poking her head out. Below her the ground was moving at the speed of light and the wind was blowing faster than any of the hurricanes back home ever did.
A frown developed on her face as she watched Remy begin his trek to the next car. She held her breath and backed away from the opening, praying that Remy wouldn't fall off and get himself killed.
"If ya fall Ah ain't catchin' ya," stated Rogue. Her joke fell flat as worry became evident in her eyes. "Maybe Ah ain't so hungry after all."

Remy carefully edged along the moving car; only stopping to lean back every so often and check that they weren't going to a tunnel or something.
He flashed Rogue a smile at her comments, and grinned a little bit wider. "What did yah say, ma cherie?" Remy hollered back, letting go an swinging from the car with one hand as if he was about to fall.
After a while the Cajun laughed and swung back to the car again. "Jus' a few moh feet an' we good." He assured her.

"Keep that up ahn Ah might just push ya off, Swamp Rat," muttered Rogue. Her eyes had widened as it looked as though the Cajun was about to fall, but when he turned to look at her with a grin she was tempted to slam the door shut and leave him hanging there.
Rather than worry herself to death Rogue turned away from the open door and glanced around the fairly empty car she was already in. She was beginning to develop a fear of heights and hoped she wouldn't be forced far off the ground in the near future. Rogue wasn't sure her stomach would be able to take it.
While she waited for Remy to return Rogue began to pull off all the lids to the crates and containers inside the car to pass the time. She mostly found plastic, but it was the last container that held something a little more eye catching.
Rogue furrowed her eyebrows as she studied the weapons lying inside the case. She had a feeling that eventually the smugglers smuggling this crate would be coming back for them. Serious money was made off of smuggled firearms--especially in Latin American Countries.
"The good news is Ah ain't gonna be stuck with Remy for the entire trip. Eventually Ah'm gonna be makin' friends with a whole group of people."
Rogue placed the lid back on the crate and returned to the doorway. "Remy?" she called out hopefully.

"Bonjour." He greeted and popped right infront of her face with a smirk. "It has occured to Remy that they be transporting ouh American foods to Argentina, not deh otheh way around." He muttered and slipped into the car.
"So we got four lunchables, but wit'out deh trench coat Remy couldn' carry anymore." He explained and three the 'make your own pizza' sets onto the floor. "If we eatin' lunchables all deh way to Argentina Remy may jump off deh train." He muttered and fell flat on his back as the went over a bumpy part of the track.

"Yeah," drawled out Rogue, glancing at the contraband crate out of the corner of her eye, "'bout that trip ta Argentina, Swamp Rat, ya weren't expectin' much trouble, were ya?"
Before the Cajun could answer Rogue walked over to the crate she had discovered and pushed off the lid to reveal the firearms inside. "'Cause Ah'm thinkin' we might have some problems later ohn down the road."
She couldn't think about food at the moment, until it registered that all Remy had brought back were lunchable pizzas. Rogue bit back a scathing remark, she had other things to worry about.
