Tabby just sat there, staring. It barely even registered when Ray stood up. This was one fight she doubted was going to end on a good note...and she also doubted any of them were going to come out of this on friendly terms.
"Sam, really, it's not what it looks like!" She tried to reason, but he either didn't hear her, or he was ignoring her. But really, how could it not be what it looked like. They were caught red-handed...and Sam had just gone off to most likely find Paige.
"Ray, I..." Tabby started. She felt horrible, but there was really nothing she could say that could fix this.

Ray was shaking as he watched Sam cannonball out, and screaming "G**dammit!" he threw his hands out to release pent-up energy. He blasted a decent crater in the ground, that was left smoldering, and he fell to his knees, covering his face as bolts of electricity emitted staticy sounds as they raced over his hands and slowly dissapeared. Nothing Gold could stay, for him...
"I don't know what to do," he muttered through his hands, voice muffled but audible; "God, I don't know what to do..."

Tabby pulled her knees up to her chest and buried her face in them. She'd messed up big this time. Not only did she most likely ruin things between him and Paige, but she'd also messed up their friendship as well; at least that's all she could think about at the moment. She also knew Pietro would probably find out, because even if no one told him, she still wouldn't be able to look at him without feeling guilty.
Tabby needed out. There was no way she could go back to the Brotherhood; not right now. And there was absolutely no where else she could go...except back home. The one place she swore she'd never return to.
"I suggest you go back to the mansion and clear things up." Tabby said quietly, muffled by her knees. "Best you can, anyway." That was his best bet at the moment. Hers on the other hand? She was heading for the closest bus station.

Ray tried to get up, but he didn't have it in him. Looking back at her, he couldn't help but feel sorry for her. "I'm not gonna go there," Ray said; "I can't, not anymore.... Tabs, what about you?" he asked quietly.

"Doesn't matter." Tabby shrugged. He needed to go back, needed to be the one to tell Paige what happened, not Sam.

"Yes, it does," Ray said with a bit force than he intended. He got up, still shaking a little. He clenched and unclenched his hands, watching them. Then, he glanced up towards the mansion. There wasn't a thing he could do now. Sam was telling Paige everything and by the time Ray got there, she'd be too far gone to talk to.

"I'm just gonna go back to the Brotherhood." Tabby said, lifting her head to look at him. From there? I'm hitting the closest bus station. She decided, but he didn't have to know that.
"You really should go back, talk to Paige." She said quietly, staring at the ground.

Ray rubbed his eyes; "I can't," he huffed, crossing his arms; "Sam's probably got her so far gone, I'm better off just going back down to the sewers..." he paused; "Or skipping town. Maybe I'll go to Chicago..." he mused absently, buying for time. He didn't want to face Paige, he would break if he saw her now.

"Trust me on this Ray, if you leave now, she'll never forgive you." Tabby said seriously as she attempted to stand. That may or may not be true, she didn't know Paige that well; but she figured she'd hate him more if he just left.
Tabby was being extremely hypocritical at the moment, because she was telling him to do the exact opposite of what she planning on doing. Only, Pietro wouldn't know why she left...And was that really fair to him?
"I'ma gonna go home." She said, but made no move to get up. Tabby knew she'd have to stop by the Brotherhood house first and get her stuff; she just hoped Pietro would be asleep.

Ray nodded; "I know..." he said, sighing.
He watched her for a second, her attempt at getting up. He wanted to help her, but he couldn't make a move to. He felt like he was being watched, and that kept him still.
"Okay," he said, nodding at her answer; "I... I'll talk to you later..." that didn't seem right, but it was all he could say.
So, Ray turned, starting to head hom, casting a look over his shoulder at her. It was killing him to leave her, but she made it clear he should. So, he did.

Tabby just sat there, watching as he walked away. It's for the best. She told herself, although she couldn't help but feel like she was losing something.
"Later." She muttered, although she wasn't sure if he heard her or not. Sighing, she pulled herself off the ground, stumbling slightly; on top of everything, she was still tipsy.
Tabby headed off toward the Brotherhood, trying to figure out what to do. She wasn't sure if she could stay...not sure if she could face Pietro. But if he found out, she'd have to leave anyway; and she couldn't exactly go back to the mansion. Tabby had a feeling that leaving this time would be permanent, and she wasn't sure how she felt about that...or how much more of all of this she could take.
