((Open!))
Amara was bored and was sitting in the grass of the park, while holding a small fiery koosh ball in her hands she liked to call, Mr.Fuzzles.
She plopped onto the ground and sighed. Today ways, yet, nother boring day. Maybe later she'd empty the freezer of popsicles and then eat the ice cream then get a sugar high and go crazy. It was just a though...

St John had taken to wandering around the park lately. It wasn't as if Magneto noticed; the only time he ever came out of his lab or wherever was when he needed Pyro to burn something. In order to escape boredom/usage as a human torch, Pyro was creating small brush fires and putting them out as soon as people began to yell.
He was in search of his next artistic experiment when he noticed a familiar-looking face. It was the X-girl who could create fire; Amara or something. Pyro wasn't very good with names. But that was besides the point.
Flicking open his lighter, he made sure the girl couldn't see him before sending a tiny flame racing towards her. This could prove interesting...he wanted to see what she would do.

Amara blinked and sniffed, she could smell burning grass. Sitting up she saw a little flame heading towards her. She couldn't stop it so she turned into her flamey form and followed the flame.
Mr.Fuzzles had ben extinguished when she turned into her flamey form. She didn't know where this flame have come from but she had a hunch...

Pyro watched as the girl noticed the flame...and then became a flame herself. He narrowed his eyes; yes, now he remembered. She had been at one of the encounters between the X-men and Magneto's Acolytes.
He was surprised and a little impressed with her audacity: he had assumed that since she was an X-girl, she would try to hide her powers, not put them on full display in one of Bayville's most public places.
Oh well, two could play at that game. Pyro did not particularly care about mutant-human relations or what people thought of him, for that matter. The small flame roared up to two feet tall.

Amara grinned and stood up turning into her regular form with a grin. She walked behind the bush. "Hello, Mr.Pyro sir.", she said with a small laugh. "What happened to you? I haven't seen you in forever."

Pyro gave a lopsided grin at her address of him. "Sir." It was probably the first time anyone had ever called him that in his life.
"Oi've been 'round," he answered vaguely. "Ol' Buckethead don't have too many dastardly schemes up 'is sleeve lately. Which eithah means 'e's given up, or somethin' big is roight round the corner."
He caused the flame to roll into itself until it was a tiny ball of concentrated, white-hot heat. He flicked his finger: the orb zipped over to hover in front of Amara's face.
"Ball's in your court, Sheila," He said cheerfully. "What've you been up to, yourself?"

"I..." she bagan, grabbing the ball and then tackling him to the ground. "Have been bopred out of my skull while everyone esle is doing something." She grinned at him. He never did take off the viser did he?
She rolled over so she was next to him instead of ontop of him. She spun the ball on her finger and then tossed it back to him.

Pyro gave an "Oooof!" as Amara tackled him over; he hit the ground hard, but didn't really mind too much as his mind was more focussed on Amara on top of him. He had to admit, it was nice, and he was a little disappointed when she rolled off him. Although, he was able to breathe now. That was always a plus.
He pushed himself up to lean on his elbows, and caused the ball of fire to shape itself into a bird of prey. A tiny bird of prey; about the size of a butterfly, but he thought it was pretty cool nonetheless.
"Everybody else is doin' somethin'?" He repeated it as a question, arching an eyebrow at her. "This begs the question of whoi you'ah not doin' somethin' along with 'em, naow, doesn't it?" He winked. "Weren't you invoited?" He teased.
((OOC: Is it the weekend or a holiday? Otherwise, I'd have John tease her about being out of school, but I'm not sure, lol))

Amar grinned at him and gave a small laugh. "Well, Tabby did blow up a gas station the other day and I did watched a movie with Roberto and X but that's just about it", she said shrugging.
She watched the little bird and continued to grin. There really hadn't been much to do around the mansion lately, but that was alright with her. Mr.Fuzzles and her had plenty of fun on their own.
((OOC: Well, if you want, you can go ahead and tease away. lol. Doesn't matter.))

John willed the bird to do several lazy loop-de-loops in the air for amusement.
"Oi don't suppose you 'ave any o' that silly string left then..." he began to tease her again. This was nice. He wondered whether anyone had noticed whether he'd left the Acolyte base, and then decided that he didn't give a d**n.

"Poooossibly..." she said with a sly smirk. She remembered when she'd snuck him in and they went to silly string everyone. It'd been nice.
"So..." she began, turning her head over in it's side to look at him. She threw a flame at the little flipping bird and then added, "Are you even suposed to be here?" she laughed then giving him a smirk.
He had nice eyes. She kept stairing into them until she realized what she was doing and turned away in a light blush. She kept making herself more and more obvious by the second. It wasn't like she didn't want him to know she liked him, but she was more afraid of what he might think.
She tore her mind away from those thoughts and looked back over at him, giving him a smirk.

Pyro caused the bird to swallow up the flame that Amara had thrown at her, and grinned triumphantly. She was looking at him oddly; he wondered for a moment if there was something on his face, but his mind was quickly distracted by her question.
"Erm, funny ya should mention that..." He looked over his shoulder, scanning the area, but didn't see anything that resembled Magneto. Or even Gambit for that matter. That light post could, however, have been Colossus if you squinted really hard...
"Oi loike ta think that Oi'm the loife an' soul of moi team," he said sorrowfully, giving her a mock-sincere look, "But it seems that moi teammates don't 'old the same view. Oi doubt anyone's noticed that Oi'm missin'...let's not think about it." He grinned and gave her another wink. "Oi'd rather 'ang out with a friend than the same ol' boring powerhungry mutants all the toime..."

Amara grinned at him and gave a small laugh. "Well, that's nice. I wouldn't like to be stuck there either." She thought for a moment and then came up with another question. "Why do you even stay there if it's boing? Though I'm one to speak, but still."
She sat up and tilted her head to the side while waiting for his reply but added, "What's the point of being somewhereif you're not happy? I'm not saying you don't look happy..." Her questions were reminding her of Tabby. She bit her lip trying to avoid those thoughts.

"Uh..." Nobody had ever asked John that before. He hadn't really given it much thought, to tell the truth.
"Well...it keep a roof ovah moi 'ead, if ya know what I mean," he said, "Oi've got food an' a place to stay, an' wroitin' materials in case th' inspiration stroikes..." Though he had to admit, it had been a long time since he had written anything. Boredom and writer's block were something that came hand in hand for John.
He scratched his head: he was itching to set fire to something, because the little fire bird wasn't enough to keep his powers occupied. On the other hand, he didn't really want to cause a scene or anything, because he was having a fun time talking. He doubted Amara--mischievous though she was--would take too kindly to him lighting fire to the cars in the parking lot. Destruction of private property was something those X-men had a problem with, wasn't it?
He remembered something. "Oh, roight. Mags 'as me undah a contract. Soigned in red pen an' everythin'. If Oi disappeah for too long, he'll 'unt me daown an' either make me rejoin or..." Pyro shrugged.

"What?" she said making a face. It was soon replaced by a smile though. She decided to let the conversation slip and change the subject. "So..." she began looking up at the sky in thought. "Wanna go blow something up?".
It'd been the first thing to come to mind. Tabby wasn't around to blow things up with anymore and she was growing bored and impatient. "I just thought that maybe you'd want to..." she trailed off again in thought.
