((anyone feel free to add anything, I don't care how many join, but remember, I started this thread and common courtesy would say not to post too much in between each of mine ;D )) Hank sat in the living room. He had been looking through Charles' books for one he hadn't read, or one he would like to reread. He was pretty well versed when it came to literature, which lended itself to his "stockplie" of knowlage in different areas. Currently, he was going to read a copy of The Once and Future King, an epic story about King Arthur. He immersed himself in the book within seconds, his imagination, a quality some scientists lacked, taking him right to England in the heart of it all.

Sam came stumbling down the stairs and into the living room his eyes half open. He had fallen asleep yet again, well doing his homework. "Maybe I'll find the doggy in the kitchen..." He mumbled half awake.
Sam wasn't acting quite right, and If anyone around him was paying attention they would most likely notice that he was sleep walking. Sam didn't sleep walk that often but it did happen on occasions and apparently this was one of those occasions.
He stumbled over to where Hank was sitting and looked down at him. "Monkey." He said and gave Hank a stupid grin. "have you seen the dog?"

Hank looked up when his enahnced hearing picked up some unusual walking. He saw Sam, stumbling over to where he was. The boy was clearly not all there, and most likely sleep walking by the looks of it. Hank had read about sleep walking in a book about dreams once, and contrary to popular beleif, waking the person up wasn't any sort of problem.
"Sam, wake up," he said as he lightly nudged the southerner.

Sam began to lean toward Hank and close his eyes until Hank nudged him. "Uh.." He said and glanced around the room. "Um...." He said then looked back at Hank with a confused expression. "If yah don't mind me asking... Where am I?" He said and crossed his arms.
Sam was completely oblivious to his sleep walking habit, considering it only happened once in a while, He wasn't usually caught in his sleep walking state.

"Well, your in the living room at the Xavier Institute," he said, making sure he didn't think he was back in Kentucky or something. "May I ask if you remember what you were dreaming about? They say dreams are the key to the mind's deepest feelings or an expression of a need for more simplicity?" Hank asked, wondering what all of the monkey and dog comments were about.

"Uh." Sam said and paused.
He had been dreaming about walking through a blue cotton candy woods looking for his long lost dog He figured the dog would be in the kitchen.
He had, had a dog when he was about four years old that ran away into the woods by his house, He and his Dad had gone looking for the dog but never found him.
In his dream Sam had turned around a cotton candy tree and saw a big blue Monkey smoking something while sitting on a rock made of peppermint..... He had asked about his dog then Hank nudged him and woke him up.
Sam had been staring at his feet while he was thinking, He had an awfully bad craving for something sweet right about now...
He looked back up at Hank and quickly shook his head. "Nah, I can't remember. I never remember my dreams." He said with a shrug and smiled.

"Oh really?" he said, beleieving it. Afterall, not everyone did, so there was no reason not to.
"Well, what were you doing before you dozed off," figuring it could have influenced the dream.

"Uh." Sam said and paused yet again. Did a Professor really need to know that he fell asleep doing his homework?
"I was.. cleaningmyroom." He said quickly and smiled at Hank.

Hank could believe a lot of things, but he doubted that Sam was cleaning his room. It was hard enough to get them to clean their rooms when you asked them, and as far as he knew, no one had. But, it really didn't matter, Hank wasn't there to make Sam say anything he didn't want to. He deicded that since he didn't know what really happened, he would just assume Sam could be correct.
"Well, thats an odd activity to fall asleep in the middle of, I typically stand when I do it, but I guess to each his own."

Sam nodded. "Yeah.. I was making my bed.. And... I fell onto it.. And then.... I fell asleep." He said and nodded to himself. That was the most stupid thing you have ever said He thought and coughed. His eyes darted around the room and he made his way over to the couch.
Sam plopped down onto the couch and smiled over at Hank before staring out of a window.

Hank chuckled, Sam's story sounded even less credable. Hank figured he might need to know what had been going on, not that Sam was a very mischevious youth, but if he was doing anything important when he fell asleep, he might need to get back on it.
"So, do you mind if I check to see how clean it is? I'd hate to see your tiresome labor go unnoticed."

Sam's head snapped over to where Hank was sitting. "Oh no." He said quickly and sat up sraight. "I'm good-Its fine-No need-You don't really have to you know." He said and smiled nervously at Hank.
Sam wasn't usually one who would to professors but a little white lie once in a while wasn't going to hurt, right?.. You know unless you tell them you cleaned your room and it wasn't clean at all.

"Really, well if your sure its fine," he said, feeling both enjoyment and a little bad for putting Sam through that, he wouldn't carry it farther.

"I'm sure." Sam said and stood up. "You know. I think I'm just gonna go check on it." He said and started making his way toward the stairs.
"I mean, I could've destroyed the cleaness of the room in my sleep." He said and nodded to himself on his way up the stairs.
"I'll see yah later." He said and continued up the stairs. Why do these stairs have to be so long... He thought and shook his head.

Hank watched as Sam walked away. He smiled for a second and went back to his book. It was really good, even though he always had time for a student or any other wayward person who might come his way.
