Tabitha was lying on the couch in the living room watching television with a bag of chips in one hand and the remote in the other. All the lights were out, because no one was really home. Wanda was off doing whatever it is she does when she goes off to do whatever. Toad was probably stalking her. Lance and Freddy were awol. And Pietro had gone to the store, if she remembered correctly. So she was home alone, trying to find something to watch on the TV she was surprised even worked.
Tabby had just settled on some channel when she heard a knock at the door. At first she thought about ignoring it, not really sure who'd be knocking on the Brotherhood door in the first place. But when she realized whoever it was wasn't going to leave, she set the remote aside and stood up.
Walking out of the living room and over to the front door, she peaked through the window and noticed that it was Jamie. Narrowing her brow in confusion, she ate another chip from her bag before opening the door.
"What're you doin' here, Jamie?" Tabby asked, leaning against the doorframe as she reached her hand into the bag of chips again, all the while studying the kid; she had no idea what he was up to.

Tabitha just stared at the kid. He had to be out of his mind, coming here and acting like he knew what was best for her. And saying that they needed her back. Fat chance there. It was taking all the willpower she had to literally not slam the door in his face.
"Look, Jamie." Tabby started, exasperated. "I understand where you're coming from and all, but you really have no place to stand here and tell me what's right and what's wrong." She said, standing up and closing the door slightly. "And no, you don't understand, no matter how much you think you do."
Tabby really wasn't trying to be mean to him, but there wasn't much choice in the matter. Jamie would most likely take it the wrong way anyway. She just hoped one of the others got home soon.
"And trying to scare me into coming back won't work either. Nothing is going to happen, Jamie. So just go." Tabby said, shutting the door; she really wasn't in the mood to put up with any of the X-Men at the moment, let alone one that is four years younger than her who thinks he knows everything.

Pietro zipped up the stairs with a bag on his shoulder. Tabitha was right by the door so he slipped under her arm far enough to drop the bag on the counter before slipping his arms around her waist. "Miss me?" He asked with his head wrapped around to look at her. He'd been gone barely fifteen minutes, and in that time he'd managed to swipe a bag of food and get out before anyone realized the alarms were going off.
"We're out of cash, don't ask where I got that food and you won't have anything to tell anyone who asks you." He explained with a slight smirk on his face. Lance had taken off again on some mission for Mystique and Freddy was still gone. He hadn't seen Todd around lately, but considering he had yet to run into Wanda one could only awesome where the bouncy Brotherhood boy was.

Tabitha couldn't believe that kid. He was what, thirteen, fourteen years old? And he was trying to tell her that she was making a bad decision? I'm sorry, but there's something wrong with that picture. Tabby thought before slamming the door shut.
Not two seconds later, Pietro had his arms around her. Any other time she would've been glad for the contact, but she was a little too ticked off and scatterbrained at the moment.
Jamie had no idea what it was like, no idea at all. He had been going through a phase or something when he went traipsing about from group to group, but Tabby seriously doubted he had any idea as to what it was really like out there.
"Huh?" Tabby asked, noticing that Pietro quit talking. She hadn't exactly heard what he said after "miss me", so it was hard to tell why he was smirking.

Pietro pouted at her and was about to say something when he heard a muffled yell from the open window. Something about pudding...
The white-haired speed demon detangled himself from Tabby and opened the door. He was going through a fairy phase, someone stole Jamie's underwear, and Tabitha liked Kurt. Pietro blinked and shut the door again before turning to Tabby.
He'd heard something about Tabby&Kurt once upon a time, but that was before she'd even joined the brotherhood boys. Jamie's clones were fairly dumb, and forgetful. "Did you know he was here?" The teen questioned with a confused expression on his face.

"That kid has a death wish." Tabby muttered, glaring; Jamie was seriously asking for it. First he pulls that little stunt trying to get her to come back to the mansion, then he insults Pietro and says that she likes Kurt with Pietro standing right there. Sure, she'd flirted with Kurt, maybe even had a small crush on him once, but that was a looooooong time ago. They were just friends now, if that even; their relationship had been rocky lately so she wasn't exactly sure where he stood.
"Yeah, he'd just left when you came back." Tabby said, walking into the living room and collapsing onto the couch once again. "He was trying to get me to go back to the mansion." She laughed. "Fat chance there."
