Tabitha had left the Institute without so much as a goodbye to anyone except Amara and X. In fact, as far as she new Xavier, Amara, and X were the only three who knew she was gone; although she doubted it would go unnoticed for too long.
Sighing, Tabby pulled her hood on as she felt a raindrop. Figures. She thought, securing her duffle bag around her shoulder as she continued down the street; she was about five minutes away and she really hoped it didn't start downpouring before she got there.
After walking a few more minutes in silence, Tabby finally came upon the old house. Smiling, she walked up to the door and stopped, debating on knocking or kicking it open.
Obviously she opted for option number two. "Honey, I'm home!" Tabby called as she shut the door behind her.

Pietro Maximoff, son of Magneto himself, had been in his room bobbing his head to music for the past hour. He was bored, and began to wonder how boring his life would have been were he human. He must have been cursed. For being the son of an an evil-overlord couldn't have been boring for all, could it?
Pietro heard a crash, followed by a friendly greeting, and he zipped downstairs smirking. "Hey Tabs whatcha-" He stopped and observed the girl for a minute. Wet, hood pulled over her damp hair and a duffle bag slung over her shoulder. "Home? Home, home!?" The white-haired teen exclaimed and zipped over to twirl her up in the air at super speed.
"What happened to the X-Geeks?" He questioned and put her down. Before giving her time to even open her mouth however, he covered it with his own.

Tabitha wasn't at all surprised to be greeted by Pietro. But before she even had a chance to nod at his first question, she felt herself lifted off the ground. Laughing as he spun her around, she quickly wrapped her arms around his neck as he set her down again.
She felt his lips on hers before she could even think of an answer to his second question. Closing her eyes, she kissed him back, dropping her bag to the ground.
"I just felt like a change." Tabby answered, shrugging, once they'd broken apart. It wasn't exactly a lie, per se, but it wasn't exactly the truth either.

"Good 'nough." The speed demon replied and gave her another quick kiss before zipped upstairs with her bag. "Bags infront'a yer room!" He called down the stairs and ran up and down the hall knocking on doors. "Tabbys moving in. Tabbys movinin. tabsmovinin." He called, words entirely slurred together as he reached Wanda's door.
The teen zipped back downstairs and slid his arms back around her waist. "You've got Mystique's room. Where were we?" He asked coyly.

Tabby smiled as he kissed her again, then listened, amused, as he ran along the hallway informing everyone that she was back. Actually, she found it hilarious and she started laughing, wondering who had given him sugar.
When he suddenly showed up in front of her again, her laugh had turned into a smirk. "Oh, I don't know." Tabby said, wrapping her arms around his neck again and staring into his eyes, grinning mischeivously.
She was hoping for something like this; a distraction to keep her mind off what had just taken place at the Institute. Although she'd never show it, it had hurt that her friends didn't even try and stop her. Sure, it was what she wanted, but leaving was a spur of the moment decision; plus, she was angry at the time. And then them just letting her go...again...it just made her feel slightly worthless.
