Scott smiled when he noticed that there was once again food waiting for him. He didn't know if Apocalypse served it himself or if he had some strange robotic thing doing it for him but Scott didn't particularly care right now. It was food and he was hungry. He glanced about, taking in the changes made since he'd left. The cot was now a bed, one that looked wonderfully appealing. His sweater and shades sat on the floor in the corner and the chair he sat on had a cushion now, which his backside was thankful for.
His mind flashed to what had occured in the labyrinth and he shook his head, trying to forget. "What have I done," he asked. He finished the roll he had begun to munch on and then settled himself into his bed. He didn't really want to go back to that med lab, the bed was already much more comfortable. Scott closed his eyes, forcing himself to fall asleep, he wouldn't have to think about what he'd done if he was asleep.
Noises in the hallway woke him up...and he knew Apocalypse wasn't that loud on his own. "Must have brought someone back with him," Scott said, letting out a yawn.

Kurt walked into the room and the door closed behind him. "What have I gotten myself into?" Kurt said as he looked around and then he noticed a strange yet familiar face. "Do I know you?" Kurt asked the man.

"Kurt! What are you doing here?" Scott forced himself out of bed, wincing when his muscles protested. He couldn't believe the blue elf was here in the flesh.

"I..I have come to be a horsemen." Kurt said as he looked over who he now realized was Scott. "Scott is that you?"

Scott grinned, "Yeah, it's me, I mean, you probably can't tell, right. I mean, without the glasses. I probably look pretty weird with a pair of baby blues...at least I think they're blue. Haven't had the chance to look at a mirror lately, y'know? And thinking of blue you really are, aren't you?" The excitement of seeing a familiar face banished all thoughts of recent events, especially since Scott could finally see exactly what others had meant when they said Kurt was a shade of indigo. He sobered when he thought about Kurt's horsemen statement. " A horseman? Gosh, never thought of it that way...guess that's what we are though, huh?"

"You bet," Scott replied to the 'roomies' comment.
"Seriously, though, Kurt, this place changes people. Things'll go on that'll make you wonder who you are. I've done...," he shook his head, "something unforgiveable. I killed her, Kurt, to save myself I killed her. How could I do that? I loved her and I killed her." The words had come out of his mouth like a flood as his mind replayed the scenario over and over.

"Jean! Apocalypse had me in this maze and she was there Kurt, I saw her. And she hated me, hated me for being here. She was gonna...so I...I blasted her. Not like I blasted stuff at the Institute. It was focused, Kurt, it was intended to kill...and it did."

"You mean you. But ...But." Kurt took a deep breath to calm himself. "You could not help it Scott. It had to be done." Kurt said trying to make Scott realize it himself. Even though now Kurt regretted his choice he knew thgere was no going back.

"I could have...I could have let her kill me instead, could have let Apocalypse kill me back in the park. But no! I'm a coward, Kurt, a class A coward. I could have done something..." He let the words fade. "Some part of me wants to believe I didn't, that it wasn't really her. Maybe it wasn't, but it was so real."

"You think so? I hope she is back there. Miss her like crazy...and I killed her." He didn't know why he kept saying that. It just popped out of his mouth, and no matter how many times he said it the words never seemed completely real, like no amount of reciting would take away the shock.

As he comes down the long hallway that leads to Cyclops and Nightcrawler's chamber Apocalypse notices that the two have bonded very well. As he enter the chamber Apocalypse lokks at Scott first " Go wait for me in my throne room Scott. While I take kurt to the transformation chamber." He glances at Kurt. "The time has come to begin your rebirth my child." Apocalypse extends his hand to Kurt.
Apocalypse walks toward the chamber door as he send the two mutants on they're way. He sends a telepathic link to Scott. " Be prepared to begin your training and learn your role at the mansion." Apocalypse lets Scott find his way and guides Kurt to the transformation Chamber. He looks at Kurt and speaks. " Are you ready to be reborn my child?"

Scott nods at Apocalypse's order. He gives Kurt a reassuring look, like everything will be okay. Scott's mind flashed back to his own trip to the transformation chamber and could only imagine what Kurt was in for...his had been localized, Kurt had blue fur and a tail to contend with.
He grabs his sweater and glasses from the corner before heading out the door into the hallway. Like a security blanket, he thinks to himself, his little reminder of the life he had before this whole ordeal started.
