Scott grabbed his coat off the coat rack and rummaged through the pockets. No keys in the left pocket, no keys in the right. He checked the inside breast pocket just in case, nope, not there either. "Where are my keys?" Scott asked, shoving the coat back on the rack. "They're not in my drawer, or on my desk... and they're not in my jacket. I know they didn't ride down to the wash in my pants pocket because I check those before I thow them down the clothes shute..." He was really starting to get worried. He'd never misplaced his keys. Never. Okay, so there was that one time when he was 16 but ever since then he had never been so careless.
Scott and his car had been through a lot together and he wasn't about to hurt its feelings by loosing their means of communication. "There's a lot of people in this mansion; someone has to know something."

Jean shook her head. "Why would somebody take your keys, I mean besides me, Drake, didn't he joyride your car last year?" She asked knowing Scott woudlt' have lost the keys himself and she hadn't seen them recently either. "We should probably start asking the other students, or check the mall parking lot," Jean joked knowing very well taht most of the students, at least the younger ones hung out at the mall more oftern than not

"That's a good idea, Jean. I don't think Bobby took them though, after that whole joyride extravaganza I doubt he'd want a repeat performance of 'Probation: the musical'. Which crosses off Sam as well." He thought for a moment. " Who doesn't know my car is off limits? I'll tell you one thing, after I find my keys I'm never leaving them unattended again."
((ooc. I was looking around other posts recently and apparently Jean's car got trashed too. Something involving shaving cream or something...what do they have against these two people's cars?))

"My car." Scott told him. "Well, I mean, I don't 'know' my car is gone but the keys sure are." The sound of girl voices caught his attention. Rogue and Kitty back from the mall. A tumble down the stairs made a grand entrance for Tabitha. "Maybe they know..."he mused.

Lorna was busy chatting with her friends, and she didn't even realize that she'd entered the garage. She gasped when she saw Jean and Scott. Polaris instantly knew what the question was about.
"Oh... HI, Scott... J-Jean...!" she said in a sugary tone, nervously laughing. She flicked her green hair and put her most charming smile on.
"Wha... What's up?"

"Hey, Lorna," Scott replied. She seemed nervous about something. 'Better put her on the suspects list' Scott thought before asking, "You don't happen to know what happened to my car, do you? As in who might have taken it and managed to get it towed away?"

"Look, Jean," Scott said, "I know I promised we'd go out for lunch, and I'm really sorry but, Rogue says my car must have been towed and I can't just leave it rotting in some impound. Mind if we take a rain check? I promise I'll make it up to you."
