Pietro grinned smugly at the girl across from him and leaned forward with his hand still in his pockets. She was quite a bit shorter than him, with nice blue eyes and a short brown pixie cut. The freckles sprayed across her nose were surrounded by a pinkish tint, and her two friends were just giggling and whispering a few feet away.
"Nicole? That's a pretty name." He said quietly and winked at her, pulling another giggle and more blushing out of the teen. "So. You're friends? You guys have plans or could we perhaps go do somethin'?" The speed demon asked and leaned his head sideways before flashing another smirk.
He was bored, and he couldn't race around the park in fear of running into a certain green-haired, spoiled-brat sister of his. Lorna thought she had life so awfully awful. She seemed to think living with Magneto was a priveledge compared to whatever so-called 'torture' she had been put through.
Pietro was thankful that he hadn't had to put up with Magneto that often, just when he occasionally stopped by their New York appartment. He knew he'd had it better than Wanda, way better, and probably better than Lorna. Lorna however had it stuck in her brain that Wanda and Pietro were the lucky children. That Wanda had it easy her whole life, not having to go to school or do anything in her free time.
In his eyes Wanda was on his side, whether she hated him or not, but Lorna? Lorna was just about as close to being an Acolyte as Gambit or Pyro. She taunted Pietro, thought of him as a spoiled little daddy's boy, and on top of the Acolyte attitude held herself in a higher than thou yet 'poor me' attitude. It sickened Pietro.
