"Whel, Fahne." Jebediah said and rolled his eyes. If Ray was going to be taking Paige as a safety magnet the whole time he was here, He could go ahead and do that. This would just mean it would be more of a challenge to tick him off. Jeb really had hoped Ray would have gone with him, He didn't and I mean didn't want to see them getting all cuddly while riding, It would be just plain annoying.
"Tell meh when yer readeh so ah can lead Mordred out." Jeb said began to run a hand down the horse's neck again. Sure he could see her plain as day, and would know when she was done, But he figured he could be annoying by asking her to tell him.

"Mmmm'kay!" Paige said with a grin as she turned around to finished undoing the saddle. She honestly had to hold back a 'Ha, ha! Ah win!' since Jeb probably wouldn't look at loosing Ray as a passenger as a loss.
From the way he was talking afterwards perhaps he was. What evil plot had been in production in the twisted little mind of his? Push Ray off the horse... Spook Mordred so he reared over a swampy puddle... Have Mordred flick his tail so Ray though a bee was trying to sting him? Oh there were many things Jebediah Guthrie was capable of, and she had a feeling his approach toward Ray was going to be just slightly different than Sam's.
"Oof, kay!" The suspicious teen called as she caught the sliding saddle and it's blanket. "Ready!" She lied and walked over to set the saddle on the fence. Paige had been a tad upset to discover her mother was out of town for the visit, but had her mother been home Paige would have been getting a lecture about propper saddle care rather than pulling herself onto Morgan. It was a fairly high leap up onto the horse, and without a saddle the chestnut's hair was easy to slide off. Paige slid and stopped just in time to avoiding falling off the other side.
"All good here." The blonde said with a sheepish grin. So she wasn't an expert at mounting bareback, so what? "Come on." She called and reached out with a hand to Ray. He was taller than she was but on the other side he'd never got on a horse... this could go either way.

Jebediah continued to pet Sir Mordred until Paige announced she was ready. He put one foot in the sturp and held onto the saddle, Pulling himself up without much difficulty. He looked back at his sister, whilst fixing the reins.
The boy was about to suggest Ray take Melody's horse, Because she was alot more mellow then the rest of the horse's and Ray riding bare back his first time on a horse might not be that smart of an idea, But Paige had already got Morgan's saddle off; So he decided to say nothing.
Jeb looked agead again, urging Mordred to walk a little with a tap of his foot on the horse's side. Mordred walked over to the door then stopped, and Jeb pulled it open enough so the two horse's could get out. He rode out into the pasture then stopped Mordred, he was planning on riding through the pasture to get to the trails, But he had one more question for Paige.
"Whut's with yah voice anahwho, Paige?." Jebediah questioned her, referring to her accent and raised an eyebrow. if she came up with some lame excuse like 'Oh, I guess I lost it' or 'What do you mean?' He would probably zap her.. Which could be fun. He didn’t see why she was hiding it. It was probably a hard thing to do, and she was home, So there was no reason she to be hiding it.

Again, Ray eyed Paige's horse apprehensively, walking over slowly. He took Beaker and set him down, and the squirrel scampered up his leg for a moment. "No, go outside," Ray said to it sternly, and Beaker's teeth chattered before he went outside to climb up a nearby tree.
Ray heard what Jeb said about Paige's accent, and he had to agree, he was just as curious. He found her accent one of her better qualities, and he was sure he'd told her that.
"Yeah, why don't you relax a bit?" He asked her gently as he rested his arms on the horse's back. Then, with a grunt, he hauled himself up onto the horse, hanging across it for a moment before sitting up and at the same time swinging his leg over.
"Whoa," he said, looking down; "Can I be honest and say this feels awkward?" He said, looking up at Paige. This wasn't going to be a comfortable ride.

Paige was about to snap back at Jeb, claiming to have no idea what he was talking about, when she caught on. Her accent? She'd been so used to forcing it off that she hadn't noticed it wasn't there.
"Oh... Ah dunno.." She laughed a little when Ray told her to relax and gave Jeb a sheepish grin. "Ah don't reallah use it outsahde'a Kentucky." She admitted with a shrug. The school fieldtrips out of state had always meant hiding the accent, as on the first couple she was teased... and unlike a few friends she refused to force an overdone accent simply to get the point across that she didn't care what they thought. Paige did care what they thought and getting teased kind of hurt... a little more than she'd ever admit.
"You can." She replied to Ray with a grin. "But you can't get off."

"I can't, huh?" Ray asked, smirking, though he looked down for a moment before threading his arms around her waist.
"So I don't fall," he explained innocently.

"It burrrrns!" Jebediah said in fake pain and rolled his eyes at the two, then rode into the pasture a little more.
"Arh yah guy's comin'?" The brunette questioned, rather bored sounding and glanced back at Paige and Ray. It was going to happen.. Wether he liked it or not... They were already getting all cuddly and they hadn't even come out into the pasture yet. Maybe Jeb could ditch them.. Who know's what they'll do while he isn't watching them and one can only imagen what his siblings will say to him. But, at least he had a way to save his eye sight.

((:-P We wouldn' do ANYTHING, you little brat))
"Right, no fall-" Paige was cut off by a scream of agony... She could feel her cheeks heating up and snapped her head in Jay's direction when he continued as if he hadn't said anything. Rather than answering she nudged Morgan and trotted past him.
They were only a few strides away from Sir Mordred&Jeb when she slowed Morgan down. Paige was out to give Jeb the cold shoulder, not fall off a horse and pull Ray down with her... no repeats of the spinny chairs were to be expected.
