"Eventually..." Amara said taking a big bite of her own. She sat up ontop of the counter and swung her legs as she ate.

"As long as it gets cleaned up...and I mean everything, nobody likes a sticky table." Scott closed the freezer door and, before heading over to the sink noticed the empty carton of vanilla icecream. He leaned to the side of the fridge and grabbed a pen, making note on the shopping list that they were out. Sometimes it seemed like he was the only one who actually added to the list...most of the items on there were his handwriting.

"Huuuuuunh," Roberto sighed, rolling his eyes at Scott's comment, "Don't we have maids for that? This is a mansion."
Roberto knew the answer to this question very well, but he couldn't help but point out that they should have maids and butlers at a place like this.

"I will... After the cage match..." she said staring fixedly at her ice cream and grinned. "So, Scotty..." she said looking up at him. "D'you think you think you'd take me driving sometime?" she asked with a pleading look. "I just got my permit..."

Scott's head spun faster than it had ever spun in a direction before. "Take you driving?" After Kitty's little foray into driving he had hoped he would never be asked to risk his life in that fashion ever again...give him plagues, weeds, an extra heavy DR session, anything but driving lessons...and yet here he was...in the middle of an attack. He quickly filled his glass with water and took a big gulp to buy him some time for an answer. "Um...so you got your temps, did you finish behind the wheel?"

"I think you should take her Cyke," Roberto said smiling evilly at him. For some reason he had turned into sort of an instigator, and he wanted to see if Scott would do it or not.

"Oh, you think so, do you, Sunspot?" If he didn't have those stupid glasses on his face he would have tried glaring at the young mutant, instead Scott took another gulp of water, waiting for Amara's reply.

"Yes! Now please, please, please?" she begged putting her hands together as if she were praying. "I promise not to hit anything. I'll be a good girl. Please?" Scott didn't look like he was up to it, but still. "If you won't take me I'll go get Pyro to take me."

Roberto's devilish grin faded when Amara mentioned Pyro's name. He wasn't sure if he should tell Amara what he had seen and heard, but if she was this comfortable bringing up Pyro's name to Scott then he guessed she didn't care.

Scott groaned...he hated it when girls did that, He was powerless against their pleading, somehow it always seemed like he was being a jerk if he didn't say yes. "Fine...and why would Pyro be taking you anywhere...let alone in a car." Scott didn't even know the guy drove, and the idea that Amara thought he would be a better option than himself was scary...the guy didn't always appear to be the most stable person on the planet.

Amara rolled her eyes and scoffed. "It was the only thing that came to mind. Kay? Chill..." she took another bite of her ice cream and then swallowed. "Though I'm sure if I asked him he would..." she said looking off out the window.

"You're sitting here in the kitchen and the first person who pops into your mind is Pyro?" Scott really had a hard time buying Amara's explanation but didn't feel like investigating. "I'll take you out in the X-Van tomorrow, alright? 1 o'clock sharp. If you're late there will be consequences." The main consequence was Scott would use it as a valid excuse to never take her out driving ever again...he really hoped she would be late.
Scott drank the last bit of water in the glass and placed it on the side of the sink.
