Amara walked into the kitchen and started pacing back and forth. It had been at least a few nights since she'd the news and it was still eating at her. Why, oh, why did she have to leave her jacket there?

Paige walked into the kitchen to grab the potatoe chips and looked over at the pacing girl. "Something wrong?" She asked and opened the cabinet to search for the chips. She was seeing new students every day, but this one seemed to be distraught over something.

Amara looked up and noticed the girl and sighed. She must be new.
"Well, have you seen the news lately? If you have- that jacket was mine... and now a few friends and I are going to die..."

((OOC: Is this open?))
Tabby entered the kitchen and headed straight for the fridge, opening it, and grabbing a bottle of water. After taking a drink, she turned and noticed Amara and the new girl.
"Hey Amara. What's going on?"

((OOC: Yes, it is. I just forgot to put open at the top.))
"We... are gonna... die! That's what's up!" Oh, how she wished she was Tabby right now...

"What?" Tabby just looked at her confused, before realizing she must have done something.
"Wait a minute! What'd you do and why wasn't I invited?" Boom Boom placed her free hand on her hip and gave Amara an accusing look.

She sighed. It was a long story. "Sam, Ray and I had a spray paint fight in the park and got spray paint everywhere. I also left my jacket there and we made the news."
She plopped down into a chair and burried her head in her hands. How could she have been so stupid...

((still open??))
"Someone say my name?" Ray asked as he walked into the kitchen, hands in his pockets, feet shuffling to a stop as he stood and looked around. Finally, he saw Amara; "Wassup, 'Mara?" he asked.

Tabby stared at her. "I can't believe you." She laughed, shaking her head. "Man, where was I when all this happened?" She asked herself, hopping up on the counter and looking over at Ray as he came in.
"What? I don't get a "Hi, Tabby"?" She asked, pretending to be hurt before turning her attention back to Amara.
"Calm down Amara, I'm sure no one will notice." Tabby said, taking another sip of her water. "Unless of course the Prof. or Logan or someone watched the news. And still, they can't prove anything." Tabitha was having a hard time trying not to laugh at Amara when she was obviously worried.
Boom Boom sighed after a few minutes of silence. "Besides, I'm dead too, so don't feel so bad."
Tabby was pretty sure the Prof. knew about her, uh...drinking the other night. She was just waiting for that lecture. And it was only a matter of time until Scott needed to go somewhere and found that his car was AWOL.
"Say, if Scott asks, I was never here. And if the Prof. asks..." Tabby sighed again. "I'm dead."
((OOC: Uh, sorry. Missed Ray's post.))

((lol its okay i think it's obvious by now my timing sux! lol))
Ray blinked, giving her a sheepish grin and a small way; "Hi, Tabs!" he said, then, his eyes drifted to the TV. It was shut off, but the last thing he'd watched was the news. Then, he looked back at Amara, figuring she'd found out her Jacket had been elft behind.
"So uh, yeah Amara..." he began nonchalantly, tracing the outline of a tile with his big toe and watching his foot; "Found out where uh... where your jacket was?" he asked, looking up.

Paige pulled the potatoe chips out of the third cabinet she had looked through and turned around. She waved to Tabby and smiled over at Ray before opening the potatoe chips and beginning to eat them. Someone had obviously worked hard to hide these potatoe chips, and after her search of the cabinets she felt no shame in eating them.
Growing up with 8 siblings you quickly learned how to find the hidden goodies, and it was especially easy when they were all shorter than you. Sam wasn't a problem because all you had to do was question the foods whereabouts until he started avoiding eye contact. Sam was a very bad liar...

"Yes..." she said with a deressed tone. "We didn't even really do anything. It was an accident..."

Ray nodded, frowning at the thought of the local police force. They were the literal Mutant KKK, it seemed.
"Yeah, but I doubt that counts for much," he said finally, frown receeding as he let the thought slide; "Figured out a way to get it back?"

"Well, I was thinking of asking Pyro, but that's a asking a little too much." She didn't know what she was gonna do...

Tabby looked between the two before hopping off the counter and tossing her empty water bottle in the trash.
"Pyro?" She asked Amara, raising an eyebrow and grinning. Well, this was new...
