Rogue grinned back, eyeing Remy carefully. "Ah have no doubt he did deserve it. So why did ya call meh? Ya said it would be worth mah while."
Rogue tilted her head and studied Tabitha as she waited for an answer.

"Rem-y. Dat hard to undahstand chere? Though foh you, Remy guesses it is." The Cajun retored and then turned his attention back to Rogue. "Alrigh' then. Jus' foh you chere. Remy call it drowned rat in a slushy." He smirked and looked over at Tabby. "Yoh not gonna buy Remy another slushy, huh?"

"You jerk!" Tabby shouted, possibly a little too loudly. "Are you kidding? You just called me stupid! There's no way I'm paying for your slushy now."
Tabitha started to rub her hands together, creating a few small bombs. This guy just didn't know who he was messing with.

Amara smiled slightly though it did had a note of sarcasm in it. "Tabz..." she began once again looking at her, but this time out of the corner of her eye. "Please go pay for another drink..."

"Hold ohn now, sugah--there's no need ta make a scene!" exclaimed Rogue stepping between Tabitha and Remy. "Maybe you two shouldn't be near each other."
Rogue knew what Tabitha could be like when she got riled up--and it wasn't pretty. It was best to stop things before they started, even if it meant protecting the Swamp Rat.
Of course judging by the look in Amara's eyes, Rogue would be seriously outnumbered in this round. Coming to the mall had definitely not been one of her brighter ideas for the day.

"Chere." Remy warned and glanced around. "Quite a few people in deh area, and Remy don' t'ink mutant riot on the six a'clock news look so good foh us."
"Foh'get dat slushy, Remy don' really wanna risk it anyway..." The Cajun dismissed the order for a new drink, and the idea of blowing the remains of his old one up on the blonde, because Rogue was currently standing between them.

"Alrightly then." she said with a slight sigh and the rolling her eyes back over to Tabby. "We'll talk later..." she said while placing herself down on a bench and began to vent mentally. 'it's only a pair of shoes... don't let it get to you...'

"Shoes?" repeated Rogue. "This was 'bout a pair of shoes? Are y'all nuts or somethin'?"
With a shake of her head Rogue turned back to Tabitha, not budging from her position in front of Remy. If anyone were to blow up the Cajun it would be Rogue--not Tabitha.

Tabby calmed herself down before she blew up the whole food court. She looked from Remy, to Amara, to Rogue, and finally back to Remy again.
"Forget this. I'm out of here."
Tabby abruptly turned and walked away, not bothering to spare another glance their way.

"You're leavin'? Then why'd ya call meh here for? Tabitha? Tabitha!" Rogue blinked in surprise at the retreating figure of her friend. There was no way Tabs had just abandoned her.

"Uh, Remy don' t'ink she's in deh mood tah talk tah ana'one jus' now." The Cajun muttered quietly, and he began to wonder if Tabitha was in the X-Men. She seemed more of a brotherhood type.
The brotherhood seemed to be the reckless group who didn't care. The X-Men were the trained guys who did no evil. The Acolytes, even John, were all fairly powerful mutants with a sense of control and confidence that just couldn't be shaken.
Tabby seemed more out going and reckless than the typical X-Men. "Remy apologizes if dat was his fault."

Amara shrugged and smirked a little. "Hey- she's gonna be the one who gets caught with, Scott's car, now. No big deal." She liked the idea of this. There was also another plan of hers which put another grin on her face.
She began to play with the little jet of flame again, but this time holding it eye level making it look as though it was circling around people's heads.

"What did ya do ta her, Swamp Rat?" demanded Rogue swirling around to face Remy. "Ahn ya better not say nothin' 'cause Ah know ya did somethin'!"
Rogue took a deep breath. It wouldn't do to take her anger out on the man in front of her. Other than existing he hadn't done much to her...oh yeah, he had kidnapped her, but that was in the past. Sighing Rogue counted to ten under her breath. Apparently she wasn't going to find out what Tabitha had called her over for. Instead, Rogue would have to find something else to occupy her time.
Amara's words jolted her. "Scott's car? You're kiddin' right?"

Remy looked shocked, for once, and began to gape trying to say something. "Remy-Remy didn' do anyt'ing!" He retaliated and shoved his hands in the pockets of his trench coat. HE had been covered in slushy, HIS pretzel had been stolen, and suddenly HE had done everything?!
Rogue just wasn't playing fair.

"Right, ahn Tabitha just off ahn got anrgy ohn her own?" snorted Rogue. "You're a sight for sore eyes, Cajun--obviously ya said somethin' ta her ta make her pissed. Maybe Ah should just ask Amara what ya did, huh?"
Rogue smirked at the injured look on Remy's face, only to let out a sigh. Maybe she was being too hard on him. Maybe she should give him the benefit of the doubt.
