Jeb had been in the barn for about three hours. He was taking care of the animals, Or had just finished. He had been up since five, finishing all of his daily chore's, Today he got to take care of the horse's. So, Now that he was done, He had decided to go out for a ride.
Jeb came out of one of the horse's stall's, holding onto it's halter and leading it toward the middle of the barn. He halted the horse and hooked it up to two lead ropes, that were hooked to the wall to keep the horse's from moving while you brushed them. He brushed a few piece's of hay off of his shirt and grabbed a curry out of one of the wooden boxe's by the door. He then began to bring the brush in a curicles along the horse, thinking as he did.
Paige had a boyfriend? This couldn't be good, And Jeb had made it very clear that he didn't like him, Thought he wasn't really sure if he did or not. His name was Ray, He had learned, and he seemed to know that Jeb had been using his power durning the car ride back to the farm, But how??? He had been very secrective about it..
Jeb finished with the curry and dropped it back into the wooden box, snatching a soft brush out of it. He then began to brush the horse, still lost in his thought's.
Maybe Ray was a mutant.. If he was a friend from Paige and Sam's school, He very well could be. Though... They could have made that up to, Considering Paige had lied about Sam bringing a friend over.. Ray could have been Sam's friend too, But Jeb wasn't so sure.
Jeb finished with the brush and put it back, He then grabbed a pick and stood by the horse's back, tapping on his flank, he lifted his foot. "Good Boy, Sir Mordred." He said and started to clean out the horse's feet. Going to one after another, tapping on him and cleaning it. His old friend's had told him that naming a horse 'Sir Mordred' was strange, But it was better then naming him 'buttercup' or 'Trotter' or something stupid like that. After he was finished he walked over and dropped the pick into the wooden box.
The brown haired boy walked over to the horse and ran a hand down his neck. "What do you think, huh?" He said running his hand down the black horse's neck again. Sir Mordred was black, with a white strip down his face, He was a quarter horse. "You think he's a good guy or not?" He questioned the horse and sighed. "You know what. I don't even think you know who I'm talking about.." He said and chuckled. Jeb turned around and walked over to grab the sattle.

Ray hummed as he walked around, his newest pet, the red spastic squirrel haply named Beaker, crawling on his shoulders and arms. Ray laughed as the squirrel tried to communicate, its teeth chattering and little squeaks coming from him.
"Alright, alright!" Ray said, laughing as the squirrel climbed up onto his head. He Saw a barn, and, curious, he looked up at Baeker; "How's about we investigate?" The squirrel chattered endlessly, and laughing Ray headed for the barn.
But when he got there he saw a Guthrie tending to a horse, and Ray froze; "Oh," he said, voice deadpan for a moment as he tried to put a name to the face; "Hey." Even beaker stopped moving to examine the Guthrie.

((OOC: oooo, horses! lol. Sir Mordred? In my opinion he was very misunderstood... anyhow. If you're going with Sir Mordred I hope you don't mind me using Morgan. My FF.net name is Ally Le Fey, so naturally I'm a fan.))
Paige had sat on the roof outside her room and watched Jeb taking care of his horse. She could hear his voice drifting over the lawn, but it reached her as a Jeb voiced murmer rather than words. So her little brother didn't like the new boyfriend, but Paige hadn't really expected him to. He was younger than Sam&Jay so naturally he was less mature about the situation. There was no way holding it against him would help her case. Jeb wasn't really the type you could give the cold shoulder to and expect results.
The blonde made her way over to the side of the house and lowered herself off the edge before hopping down. The skin on Paige's forearm's was starting to peel off and she naturally expected it wasn't a sunburn, but that didn't mean Jeb would catch on. She snuck around into the back door so Jeb wouldn't see her getting ready and possibly bolt.
After getting Morgan out of her stall and brushed down Paige stared at the dusty, black english saddle. "Thanks so much for keepin' my stuff clean." She said sarcastically and glanced over at Morgan. "Melly probably rode you though, huh?" The teen questioned and dusted off the saddle before tacking up her horse. "She rides western though, guess there was really no reason to clean the saddle..." She decided with a forced shrug.
"I missed yah, but guess what I found while I was away? His name is Ray... and..." Paige paused to glance around suspicously and lean forward, taking the horses head face in her hands and leaning her own forehead against it. "He's cute." She whispered with a small giggle. "And one of the sweetest guys I've ever met. He's also really understanding, and funny." She continued in a low but giddy voice. "I think I'm madly in love." The teen joked and threw a hand over her heart before bursting into laughter and putting Morgan's reigns.
Morgan was the only animal Paige never found herself baby talking, and it was probably because Morgan seemed like more of a person than an animal. That's why Paige disliked horse racing. People running track put their hearts into in, but on a horse track they snapped crops to make the horse go faster. It was just causing a sharp pinch to cause the horse panic and get its adrenalin rushing, and Paige hated it because horses seemed more like people than a herd of cows or something.
"Now lets go make friends with Jeb before he decides he hates me as well as Ray." She explained and made her way toward the front doors with Morgan.
((ooc: Okay.. I missed Ray's post, but I don't think mine clashed with it...))

Jebediah had his western saddle laying on the floor beside his horse as he put an old saddle blanket on, The saddle blanket had been worn down some from Jeb riding Sir Mordred so much. He heard a voice behind him and he turned his head to see Ray. "Hey, Whut's with the squirrel?" He asked with a small laugh and picked up Sir Mordred's saddle. "Mellah's not gunna lahke it." He said as he put the saddle on the large, black horse and started tightening up the girth and looking over everything else. Then he heard the thud of another horse’s hoof’s coming toward him.
He continued to fix the saddle, but glanced over at Paige out of the corner of his eye. “Hey.” He said and finished with the saddle. Grabbing the horse’s bridle off of a hook next to him.

"This is Beaker," Ray said, pointing at the Squirrel, who chattered again; "Just rescued him from Paige's cat," he looked around at hearing another horse, and grinned. "Hey Paigey."

Jeb rolled his eyes at Paige's pet name, Paigey? It sounded like something some kid would call her in kindergarden... Jeb chuckled a little at his own joke. It was going to take forever to get it so he wouldn't cringe when hearing Ray say that.
"Can yah rahde?" He questioned Ray, Taking off Mordred's halter and putting his bridle on. He held on to the reins and unhooked the halter from the lead ropes, letting them fall back down to the wall's and hanging his halter on a hook.

"Hello." Paige greetedboth of them and then winked at Morgan as if to say 'what did I tell you?'
"He can ride with us." The blonde suggested and glanced at Morgan for approval. "I could just take the saddle off and we'll fit fine." She continued and pet Morgan reassuring as the horse eyed the little red squirrel on the supposed 'sweet teenager.'

Ray Looked from one horse to the other, scratching his head as he thought; "I dunno, Paige," he said uneasily; "I mean... is it like riding a motorcycle? Otherwise, I dunno..."

Jebediah bit his tongue and a crazy grin came across his face. Apparently Ray had never riden a horse before, And now Jeb was under the suspicion he had never seen one. "Whel.." He said and held back fits of laughter. Like riding a motorcycle???
"Ah think it'd be in yer best interest tah rahde with on'a us." He said then let it all out, Holding onto his sides and bursting out laughing. Like riding a motorcycle??? Riding a horse was nothing like riding a motorcycle. This visit would probably be the more interesting one Jeb would ever see.

"Well kinda..." Paige said with confused expression as she tried to compare a motorcycle to Morgan, without offending the horse.
"Yah know-" She started, only to be cut off by Jeb's howls of laughter. The blonde pursed her lips and stared at Jeb with an irritated look. Okay, so it was a little funny, and if she didn't know Ray she might have been laughing too. "It'll be like a motorcycle... kind of. I mean I'll have the reigns, you just gotta sit down and not fall off." She explained clearly, trying to be heard through Jeb's laughter.

Ray was about to reply when Jeb burst into laughter. The teen frowned and crossed his arms. Beaker chattered its teeth angrily at Jeb.
"Well like I've ever ridden a horse!" Ray said to Jeb, in an effort to defend himself.
Then he looked at Paige, eyeing the horse; "You sure?" he asked, still skeptical.

"Ah figyah'd." Jebediah said, letting out another laugh and wiping his eyes with one hand before looking back over at Paige.
"Yah know, He could rahde with meh." Jeb suggested and gave his older sister a friendly smile.
He wanted to get to know Ray, and Hey, Maybe he was a cool guy. Being able to talk to him whilst Paige was there, Would just increase the talking and decrease the pranking. Though, He doubted the cool plus Paige’s boyfriend would work out for him, But it would be cool to figure out where Ray came from and if he was a mutant and stuff.
"Ah've ridin' bare back before." The twelve-year-old added and glanced over at Ray.

Paige watched Ray's reaction and bit back a smile. Jeb was gonna tease and laugh, and Ray was gonna retaliate. At least no one was throwing punchs.
"On second thought... Yes I'm sure!" Paige replied and looked at him as if her were crazy. She had never understood why people could be skittish near horses. The teen turned around and began taking the saddle of Morgan when Jeb suggested he take Ray.
"So have I." Paige retorted, sure she'd slipped of a few times, but was putting Ray on a horse with Jeb even safe?

"Aw, Come on!" Jebediah said and looked back over at his sister. "It could beh fun." He said and watched his sister as she began to take the saddle off. That most likely meant whatever he said it was still going to be A. Big. Fat. No.
"Please??" Jeb said and began to run a hand down Sir Mordred's neck, He loved petting his horse right after brushing him, He felt really soft. Hearing Paige speaking to him whilst hiding her accent sounded really strange. Hearing Ray speaking without a Kentucky accent was fine, But Paige was born with one.. So it was strange sounding...

Ray looked at Paige; "Can I just.... heck, nevermind," he said as he plucked Beaker off of his head; "There's no way I'm Leaving Kentucky without riding a horse... but, no offense, I'm gonna ride with Paige," he said, looking at Jeb. He just couldn't trust the Guthrie Brothers, not when Sam was probably rallying some surprise attack.
