Breaking it to Paige (cont. out for a walk)

Sam watched Paige as she spoke to herself then looked over at him. He didn't know what to say to her.

He was angry with her, But at the same time wanted to help her. He had just agreed to going somewhere with a guy who he had told her cheated on her.. He kept repeated that in his head, Because he couldn't register why she did that. He was her brother, He had known her for her entire life, And she kept doing all of these thing's he had advised her not to do. He normally wouldn't care, But in this case it involved a guy. Who smoked, Abandoned her, Did drugs and just cheated on her. He had told her countless times not to go out with him, and had gotten into countless arguments with him. But did none of this matter to her.

She didn't seem to care at all about what Sam had to say about Ray, Probably because it was all negative, But that was what he had been trying to warn her about. Ray wasn't the best first boyfriend. He had wanted to find someone else, But apparently it didn't matter what Ray did, For Paige didn't seem like she would leave him, No matter what he did. Or what anyone said.

Sam stood in silence. He had no idea what to say to her. He didn't have an answer. He wanted to say it would all be alright, But he would be lying. She was going to go meet up with Ray tomorrow, and he would probably grovel at her feet after telling her he cheated on her, And who knows what she’ll do. Sam knew Paige as a sensible kind of person, and he wanted to say that she would break up with him, But he wasn’t sure about her anymore.

Ever since that first blow up He had with Ray. Paige had been distant. He hadn’t seen her much at all since she had gotten to the mansion.

Paige curled her arms tightly around her legs and sat her head in them. What had she done wrong? She was younger than Tabby, and maybe she'd bee moving too slow for Ray. Drop down on the ground making out? She wasn't really up for that. She was only fifteen, but maybe that was the problem.

"Ah'm sorry ah didn' listen tah you." She said and hoped he'd ignore the tears. "Sam, Ah really, really, really lahke him." Paige urged in a pleading tone. Why couldn't Sam just accept Ray? Ray was breaking her up inside every time he did stuff like this, and she was getting over it, so why couldn't Sam? This was different than the other stuff, and it hurt way more than him taking off. He'd given her a warning then, and she'd had a suspicion something was up before the drugs due to Sam's overly protective attitude. Drugs could hurt Ray, and she had to help him through that. What if he went off to get high right now? What if she was the cause of him getting high and hurt somewhere?

Sam frowned as his little sister went into a sort of fetal position and she started to cry. He walked over to her. "Hey." He said in a soft tone and set a hand on her back. He wanted to help her, He really did, He just didn't know what he was supposed to say. "Yah gunna hurt yerself if yah keep sitin' thea, in the glass an' all." He said and grabbed onto her arm. "Come one, Get up." He said and looked around the floor at all of the glass. He was going to have to get her a new window...

"Jus' get back tah bed, Alraight?" Sam said and looked down at Paige. He had never seen her like this before, And it didn't seem like her.. She was always so happy, and joking around.. Though if Sam was in this kind of situation.. He wouldn't be making jokes either. He was still a bit disappointed that Paige had said she would go with Ray in the following afternoon, But that didn't mean he was going to leave her there, sitting in shard's of broken glass. She could seriously hurt herself. "Weh can go down tah the livin' room, if yah want." He suggested. "Thea's a winda down thea." He added and waited for her to get up.
